Submission checklist

Thank you for deciding to submit your paper to JMCR.

Please make sure you have satisfied the points on the following checklist before submitting your manuscript. If you have any questions about the submission process, please contact info@cases.com.

1. Instructions for Authors
Have you read the detailed Instructions for Authors for JMCR? Manuscripts that are not in the correct format will not be reviewed. Please note that case reports should have a maximum of 2000 words, 10 references and 3 figures or tables. You may also like to read JMCR's peer review policy.

2. Patient consent
Have you included an explicit statement, under a separate heading of ‘Consent’ at the end of the main text, that you have obtained written, informed consent from the patient for publication of this case report? Please see our instructions for authors for more information.

3. Manuscript files
Do you have all the files for the manuscript in an acceptable format?
Please see our instructions on formatting the main manuscript, figures, and additional files for details.

4. Article-processing charges
Are you aware that JMCR has an article processing charge of £375 (€475, US$745) per article accepted for publication? However, there is a good chance that you may be entitled to a discount or will not be asked to pay this yourself. For example, your institution, group or society may already have covered the cost, or a proportion of it, by being a BioMed Central member. Individual waiver requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be granted in cases of lack of funds. To apply for a waiver please request one during the submission process. A decision on the waiver will normally be made within two working days. Submission of the article to the journal can then be completed. 5. Conditions of submission and BioMed Central Copyright and License Agreement
Do you confirm that all the authors of the manuscript have read and agreed to its content, and that readily reproducible materials described in the manuscript will be freely available to any scientist wishing to use them for non-commercial purposes? Do you confirm that the manuscript is original, has not already been published in a journal and is not currently under consideration by another journal?
